Dear Academy of Dallas Charter School’s Parents and Guardians:

As you all know, due to the Coronavirus, we are delivering instruction through a virtual learning environment, and we need the support of all of our parents to ensure success. I fully understand that many families have multiple children in various grades. However, I strongly encourage you to develop a technology use schedule for your children that provides each child time to engage with their teachers during the school day.

The expectation is that each scholar logs into their Google Classroom daily and complete assignments as instructed. There will be no opting out of AOD’s Distance Learning environment. We ask that you follow these new guidelines, and also continue engaging with your children’s teachers through Google Classrooms, their emails and the various methods teachers have chosen to communicate with you throughout the year.

Beginning today, March 30, all AOD teachers and scholars are teaching and learning through Google Classroom, and expected to be online. Thank you for your support and remember to stay safe, stay healthy and stay home!
