About Academy of Dallas Charter School Distance Learning Program

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak and shelter-in-place order issued by Dallas County, Academy of Dallas Charter Schools will implement its distance and online learning program effective March 23, 2020.
Academy of Dallas’ top priority are our scholars. Although the school buildings are temporarily closed, teaching and student learning will continue on a remote basis through Academy of Dallas’ authentic distance learning experience that fosters continual learning and college readiness. The Distance Learning program is a virtual, interactive teaching and learning curriculum designed for students to complete their academic tasks from home, while receiving full support from their teacher(s), Principal and District Superintendent. While this is a new and different teaching and learning approach, Academy of Dallas educators are committed to put in all the time and effort with virtual distance learning as they did with face to face learning inside the classroom.
